Tissue Paper Flowers Poppy
DIFFICULT: Tissue paper poppies look beautiful in a vase or mason jar—plus they’ll bring spring inside your home!
Supplies:
- Yellow and pink tissue paper
- Green pipe cleaner
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun
Instructions:
- Roll one end of a pipe cleaner till you get a small ball on the end.
- Wrap the ball with a small square of yellow tissue paper and glue in place.
- Cut a 3 x 1.5” rectangle of yellow tissue paper, fold in half, and fringe the open edge.
- Glue fringed piece around the base of the ball.
- Cut six 4” circles from the pink tissue paper.
- Pinch the base of each petal to form a cup, and glue 3 around the stem.
- Glue 3 more petals overlapping the first 3.
- Carefully crunch the petals up into a cone shape.
- Gently open them back up to form petals.
